Delivery

At Trade Price Decking we offer delivery to mainland UK. Delivery charges vary depending on the delivery location. Please enter your postcode at checkout to obtain the exact delivery cost.

Delivery typically takes up to 1–2 weeks (approximately 10 working days) after your order is placed. During busy periods delivery may take slightly longer, although where possible orders may be delivered sooner.

Please note that remote areas and the Scottish Highlands may incur additional delivery charges.

We strongly advise not to book installers or tradespeople until your goods have been delivered and checked, as delivery times may change.

Smaller items and sample packs are sent via courier and usually arrive within 3–5 working days.

All deliveries take place Monday to Friday only. We do not deliver on weekends.

To ensure your goods arrive in the best condition, the majority of our deliveries are made using our own vehicles and drivers.


Delivery Arrangements

Once your order has been picked, our transport team will contact you using the mobile number provided to arrange a delivery date.

We operate a range of delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries of up to 26 tonnes. Most deliveries are made using vehicles larger than 7.5 tonnes, so it is important that the delivery address has sufficient access.

If you have restricted access, narrow roads, weight restrictions, or height restrictions, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm whether delivery is possible.

Customers must provide two people to assist with unloading the decking. Decking boards and materials can be heavy and may have sharp edges. Anyone assisting with unloading should wear appropriate gloves and clothing and be physically capable of helping.

Our deliveries are kerbside only. Drivers are not able to carry materials any distance from the vehicle or to the rear of a property.

If a vehicle is invited onto a customer’s property, it is entirely at the customer’s own risk. Trade Price Decking and its drivers cannot accept responsibility for any damage to driveways, surfaces, or property.


Packaging

Products may arrive on timber pallets and protective packaging. These materials are necessary to protect the goods during transit.

The disposal of pallets and packaging is the responsibility of the customer once the goods have been delivered.


Order Changes

To ensure accuracy and avoid delivery errors, existing orders cannot be edited once placed.

If any changes are required, the original order will need to be cancelled and a new order raised. In some cases a second order may be required to follow the initial delivery.


Delivery Notifications

Please ensure you provide two contact telephone numbers, preferably including a mobile number capable of receiving text messages, so our transport team can contact you regarding delivery.

Once a delivery date has been confirmed via text or email, any changes must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery. Changes made after this time may incur additional delivery charges.


Returns

Unwanted products may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they remain in brand new, unused condition and in their original packaging.

Please note:

  • Decking boards cannot be returned if they have been stored outside

  • Returns are made at the customer’s expense

  • Returned goods must be sent using a tracked and signed-for delivery service

Refunds will only be issued once the returned goods have been received and signed for by Trade Price Decking.

Trade Price Decking cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit during return shipping.

Incorrectly Ordered or Unwanted Products

Unused products may be returned within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange, provided they remain in their original condition.

Please note:

  • Kits and any partial kit contents are excluded from returns

  • A 25% administration and restocking fee may apply to goods returned or refused after delivery

  • Returns do not apply to cut-to-size or made-to-measure products

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items. We recommend using a fully insured and tracked delivery service.

Refunds are limited to the cost of the product only and do not include original delivery charges.


Damaged or Faulty Goods

All goods must be checked upon delivery.

If any items are damaged, defective, or unsuitable, you must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the goods.

Include:

  • Your order reference

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographs showing the damage or fault where possible

Please note that installing or fitting the product will be considered acceptance of the goods, and we will not be able to process claims once installation has begun.

If a product is confirmed as faulty, we will arrange a replacement or refund where a replacement cannot be supplied.

Damage caused by misuse, alteration, or negligence is not covered under this policy.
